Events

International symposia and workshops are an important part of the institute's scientific work. They represent forums for scientific exchange and form the basis for joint research projects and publications. Larger international symposia take place at least every two years, the Göttingen Summer School for Chinese Law and the Young Forum for Chinese Law takes place annually. Academic life at the institutes in Göttingen and Nanjing is also enriched by lectures and courses given by guest lecturers from the other university.
