GEO-ÖKO

GEO-ÖKO publishes scientific articles in the field of applied physical geography, geoecology, landscape ecology and human ecology. Special
stress is laid on the spatial interdisciplinary aspects of analysis, evaluation and modelling of human intervention with the ecosystem, under disciplinary or interdisciplinary treatment of the subdomains of the geobiosphere (atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, pedosphere, geomorphosphere) with their bio-geochemical cycles.
Questions of spatial and temporal processes with their hierarchies and scales as well as reconstruction and prognosis of landscape evolution and change are treated as well as regional and global ecological problems. The goal is to spread new insights and a better understanding for the natural and human induced processes of the changes in terrestrial ecosystems and environmental conditions.
Articles of greater scientific relevance dealing with these fields are welcome.
