We will learn more about how AI works and investigate, where bias can find it's way into AI applications. We will exchange, how aspects of gender and diversity in regards to an algorithmic bias could become important within the university, how we can use AI in our teachings sensibly and how we can succeed to teach students a critical-informed handling of AI tools. Using the example of Chat GPT, the workshop presents didactic possibilities for supervising students in the preparation of their seminar papers with or despite LLM and for teaching students how to use it critically. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to take a critical look at the intended learning objectives of their exams to determine whether and to what extent they need to be revised due to the new form of AI. After the first basic session (approx. 2 hours of working time), the participants develop a supervision and/or assessment concept that does justice to the new technical possibilities and receive feedback from the trainer. At the second session, participants have the opportunity to present this concept and receive feedback from colleagues.
